What if a pigeon got inside my house, bedroom, kitchen, etc.

Sometimes, especially if you have pigeons that loiter around your property, you'll get a bird inside the house. This can be a random accident, or it can be from a pigeon infestation in your home. No matter what, do not chase the bird around with a broom or try and catch it in a container. This will just cause the bird to panic and fly deeper into the home or even more out of reach. Your best option at this point is to open a door or a window, turn off the lights, and let the bird find its way out. Believe it or not, a bird mistakenly in the home doesn't want to stay there. Now, a bird that lives in your home, however, may not be so easy to be rid of, though ultimately, it does want to return outside. Focus on getting the bird out of your living space, and then make a thorough investigation of your building exterior. Look for holes and openings that may be letting pigeons roost. You are going to have to use exclusion tactics to remove the birds and then you will have to repair the building.
